Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia, Inc.
Gives Three $5,000 Grants And
Establishes an Endowment Fund for Youth Development

The Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia, Inc. awarded $5,000 grants to The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula, Preschool Partners of the Virginia Peninsula and the Virginia Symphony for their musical youth programs during a grants presentation ceremony at the Marriott City Center located in Newport News on October 26, 2006.

The Foundation also announced they have established a permanent endowment fund benefiting nonprofit youth development programs on the Virginia Peninsula with a $50,000 grant received from the City of Newport News in 2006.

The Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity, builds and preserves endowment funds and identifies opportunities to enhance the quality of community life. Founded in 2003, the Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia, Inc. provides philanthropic leadership to the Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, and York County areas of the Virginia Peninsula.
