Jana Murphy Kast
Executive Director

Prior to her appointment as Executive Director, Jana Murphy Kast served as the Executive Assistant from January 2005. Since starting with the Foundation, she has been responsible for daily operations; grant writing; marketing and program development; web site development; donor management; coordinating and managing special events; budget development and management; and community liaison.
Jana comes to the Foundation with significant experience in managing community awareness programs and new program development. She has served as the Health Careers Program Director for the Riverside Health System and as the Director of Community Education for the Riverside Home Care Division.
Jana is a 1986 graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky. She has been a Virginia Peninsula resident since 1986.
Donna Francis
Community Relations Coordinator

Donna Francis joined the Foundation staff in June 2007 after relocating from Northern California. A native of New England, Donna graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.S. degree and teaching credential. After working in the corporate sector for several years with an emphasis on accounting and legal work, she entered the nonprofit industry in 1995.
Donna's nonprofit experience includes managing a large civic organization and its foundation, serving as assistant to the Vice President of Development at a major science center, and as Alumni Coordinator at the Sonoma campus of California State University. She specialized in community and donor relations, fundraising, special event planning and management, quality assurance of print and marketing materials, and fiscal administration.
At PCF, Donna provides administrative support to the Executive Director; manages the Foundation's Web site; helps to plan and coordinate special events and fundraising; and acts as a liaison with donors and other community nonprofits.
