Michael A. Monteith


For many years Mike has been dedicated to working toward improving the quality of life for citizens of the Virginia Peninsula. He has held various leadership roles in local government, retiring from the City of Hampton as Assistant City Manager. Mike served as a special advisor to the Office of the Vice President of the United States focusing on intergovernmental relations and efficiency. Mike has also owned and operated several successful businesses on the Peninsula and he is one of the founding board members of the Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia, Inc. The Board appointed Mike as CEO in November, 2010.

Ellen Enoch


Ellen came to the Foundation in June 2011. Ellen received her Bachelor's Degree from Fordham University and earned a teaching certification at Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts. Ellen has a strong background in volunteering. Ellen manages donor advised funds and charitable grants, and provides administrative support to the CEO.

Lori Ward


Lori is our part-time Administrative Assistant and has been with the Foundation since February 2011. In addition to providing support with the scholarship programs, Lori does special projects for the CEO and general clerical assistance.
