Scholarships - Thomas W. Doggins Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship, established by the Doggins family in 2013, is in memory of Thomas W. Doggins, a former teacher in the York County School Division. This endowed fund managed by at the Peninsula Community Foundation via the York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. provides a scholarship for a graduating Tabb High School senior, who is in need of financial aid for post-secondary education at a four-year college, university, community college, or technical/trade school. The scholarship is available to a student has demonstrated a strong work ethic and integrity, maintained an average GPA and exhibits the wonderful characteristics that Mr. Doggins looked for in his students.
- Must be a Tabb High School senior.
- Must be in financial need of aid for post- secondary education at a four-year college, university, community college or technical or trade school.
- The total amount of this one-time award is $500, payable in full for the first semester.
