We want to be your partner in charitable giving.
With over 15 years’ experience supporting hundreds of nonprofits in Hampton Roads, the Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia can help match your client with causes they are passionate about.
Our role is to support you. Our expertise is customizing charitable giving opportunities to meet the needs of your client. We currently manage 90 funds supporting hundreds of nonprofits. These individuals, corporations and nonprofit agencies choose to work with us because of our extensive experience vetting nonprofits, broad knowledge of issues impacting the community, and reputation for advising those who seek ways to make our communities better places to live. We only suggest that you ask your clients to be generous.
An important advantage of working with the Foundation to set up planned giving funds is the flexibility behind the many ways one can give. Your client can begin to give today, or make plans for giving in the future. Your client can start creating a philanthropic legacy with an outright gift of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, life insurance, or other assets, or they may do so at a later date with a planned gift. Most charitable gifts qualify for maximum tax advantage under federal law.
Our goal is to help you with your client’s charitable interests in mind. We provide a simple, powerful and highly personal approach to giving with the goal of developing a legacy planned giving fund that will meet the philanthropic wishes of your client today and for generations to come. And we will come to you, at your convenience, to share how. Once your client has established a charitable giving fund, they will be forever grateful to you for just asking the question: “Have you considered whether or not you want to be charitable?”
