Joyce Gaines-Dandridge, known for many years as Mrs. Gaines, was a respected and well-liked teacher at Poquoson High School for a total of 34 years until she retired in 2007. Even after retirement she stayed active in supporting students at Poquoson as well as Tabb High, where her son and grandson attended and graduated school.
This $750 scholarship will be awarded to a student from Poquoson and Tabb High Schools that are in need of financial aid and have a minimum 3.0 GPA who wishes to attend post-secondary education at a two or four-year college, university, community college or technical/trade school. The deadline to apply is April 23, 2025. |
