We are women from all walks of life who have come together to make a collective and significant difference in our community. Impact 100 Greater Peninsula exists to empower women to award large grants that transform lives.

We mark 10 years of transformational giving at this year’s Big Give. This milestone evening will be more than our signature program — it will be a celebration of the decade of generosity and vision that has shaped Impact100 Greater Peninsula.
In honor of our 10th anniversary, we’ll not only have our traditional pre-reception before the program, but guests are encouraged to stay afterward for a special anniversary toast as we celebrate all we’ve accomplished together. |
JOIN USWe realize $1,100 is a “stop and think” gift. For many of our members, $1,100 represents sacrifice and intentional budgeting to make a charitable gift of this size. That is by design. The goal is for each member to feel fully invested in and connected to their giving, and the transformational grants that result from it.
Time commitment is flexible - no required meetings or committee services. You may choose to volunteer and engage at a deeper level and attend as many events as you wish. Impact 100 women learn together about community issues through at least two annual events and are invited to other educational, volunteer, and social opportunities throughout the year. |
grantsImpact 100 Greater Peninsula has awarded over $1 million in transformative grants to Peninsula nonprofits. Each year the group awards grants of up to $50,000 to organizations making a meaningful.
These communities include Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson, James City County, Williamsburg, York County, Gloucester, Isle of Wight and Smithfield. The grant application specifies the areas or categories in which the nonprofit(s) can apply. The grant recipient will be selected by a vote of the Impact 100 Greater Peninsula membership after a detailed grant proposal review process. |
