Langley teacher grant

Langley Federal Credit Union has established a grant program to assist educators teaching elementary, middle, and high school students in the communities we serve. Up to 50 teachers will be selected to receive a $500 grant to help support current or new classroom projects. Educators must teach within the communities of: Hampton Roads, Virginia, Richmond Virginia, or Raleigh, North Carolina. The grant monies can be used to support either a new or existing lesson plan for the 2024-2025 academic year. If selected to receive a grant, the teacher’s employment and grant project must be verified by the principal, superintendent or other school official. Langley staff and immediate family of Langley staff are not eligible to apply. A total of 30 grants will be awarded to Hampton Roads teachers, 10 grants will be awarded to teachers in Richmond, Virginia, and 10 grants will be awarded to teachers in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Teachers that received a grant in 2023 will not be eligible to apply again until 2025. DEADLINES: Hampton Roads - August 30 Raleigh and Richmond - October 31 |
