thomas W. Doggins scholarship fund
The Thomas W. Doggins Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by the Doggins family in 2013 in memory of the former York County School Division teacher . This endowed fund, managed by at the Peninsula Community Foundation via the York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. provides a scholarship for a graduating Tabb High School senior, who is in need of financial aid for post-secondary education at a four-year college, university, community college, or technical/trade school. The scholarship is available to a student has demonstrated a strong work ethic and integrity, cumulative overall maximum weighted GPA of 3.9 and exhibits the wonderful characteristics that Mr. Doggins looked for in his students.

CRITERIA:
- Must be a Tabb High School senior.
- Must be in financial need of aid for post- secondary education at a four-year college, university, community college or technical or trade school.
- The total amount of this one-time award is $1,000, payable in full for the first semester.
- Deadline to apply is April 18, 2024.
